Foundation and local charities. “The Met Gala: A Ruby Jubilee – Celebrating 40 Years of Impact” honors four decades of transformative community work with elegance and cultural depth. The term “jubilee” holds special meaning in African American history, symbolizing freedom, renewal, and celebration—especially tied to emancipation and resilience. By pairing it with “ruby”, a gem representing 40 years of passion and strength, the theme reflects both the legacy and vibrancy of our chapter’s impact. The 2026 proceeds benefit:
