JAZZ ON THE GREEN
Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated, is a membership organization of mothers with children ages 2-19, dedicated to nurturing African American leaders by strengthening children through leadership development, volunteer service, philanthropic giving, and civic duty. Since its founding in 1938, Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated has been committed to stimulating children’s growth and development. That dedication remains today as we work toward improving the quality of life for all children. Jack and Jill of America, Inc. boast 271 chapters nationwide, representing over 50,000 family members in 39 states and the District of Columbia.

The Tallahassee Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated was formally established September 15, 1951. For more than 74 years, we have been committed to empowering and improving the lives of children and families in the Tallahassee and surrounding communities in the Florida panhandle. We are excited to advance our legacy as Florida’s first chapter with our annual fundraising event. This year’s theme is “Jazz on the Green”. On Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the Hub @ Feather Oaks, “Jazz on the Green” will bring together 300 established and emerging professionals to express themselves through philanthropy, fellowship, music and dance. This will be a “must attend” event with entertainment by the incomparable Tallahassee Nights Live (TNL).

The Tallahassee Chapter of Jack Jill uses proceeds from our fundraising events to support the Jack and Jill of America Foundation Inc. and local 501c3 organizations. Previous recipients include the Boys and Girls Club of Big Bend, Brehan Family Services, Leon County School Board Foundation and many more.
