Valdosta Chapter Inaugural Biennial Torchbearers Les Beautillion Militaire

The Valdosta Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. proudly presents its Inaugural Torchbearers Biennial Beautillion Les Militaire, a signature fundraising event celebrating the leadership, achievement, promise, and potential of young African American men throughout Valdosta and the surrounding communities.

For generations, chapters of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. across the nation have presented thousands of accomplished young men through the esteemed Beautillion tradition. The Valdosta Chapter is honored to continue this legacy by establishing a distinguished biennial experience designed to prepare the next generation of leaders while investing in the communities they will one day serve.

The Beautillion Les Militaire is the culmination of an intensive eight-month Torchbearers leadership and development program. Throughout their journey, the Beaux participate in a comprehensive leadership curriculum featuring enrichment workshops, mentorship, leadership development, cultural and social experiences, community service, college and career readiness, financial literacy, etiquette, fellowship, and other opportunities designed to strengthen character, confidence, responsibility, and purpose.

The inaugural Beautillion experience culminates with the formal presentation of 10 exceptional young African-American men of promise and achievement before approximately 460 guests from Valdosta and surrounding communities. The evening will celebrate their accomplishments while showcasing the traditions, discipline, and artistic expression that distinguish the Beautillion experience.

A highlight of the evening will be the ceremonial presentations and performances, including a formal waltz featuring the Beaux and their Belles, a special mother-and-son waltz honoring the women who have helped shape their journeys, and a creative performance developed by the Beaux cohort.

Beyond the celebration, the Torchbearers Beautillion Les Militaire serves a greater purpose. Proceeds from this signature fundraising initiative will support scholarships, community-based programs and organizations, and the philanthropic mission of the Jack and Jill of America Foundation, Inc. Through these investments, we seek to expand educational opportunities, strengthen families, support underserved communities, and create pathways for African American children and young adults to thrive.

The Inaugural Torchbearers Biennial Beautillion Les Militaire represents more than a formal presentation—it is an investment in leadership, scholarship, service, brotherhood, and legacy.

We are cultivating young men of distinction today who will become the leaders, innovators, professionals, and community servants of tomorrow.
